Davrian Mk5 for Sale
Reg XUO459K
Offers around £6000.

First bought 1971
First registered March 1972

Bought by me 1978

The car is fully road going with a MOT until 6 November 2018, but is now exempt from MOT
Road Fund Licence rate is £0
For many years it was off the road in a garage and hence the mileage is only about 33k.

Phone me on the details below to discuss the car, or send an e-mail through this web site

Specification
-------------------------------------------------

998 imp engine with wills rings and large port sport head with R17 cam and multi hole camshaft sprocket.
It has not been adapted to run on unleaded fuel - I use additives.
Weber 28/36 DCD carb on what I think is a Mangoletsi inlet manifold.
Stainless Steel Exhaust manifold and silencer made by P D Gough copying Janspeed examples.
Oil cooler fitted with a thermostat.

Standard imp transaxle.

Standard imp suspension front and back with for some reason 1 half shaft the thicker size.
Spax adjustable shock absorbers all round, the front with adjustable spring platforms.
Revolution 6 X 13 wheels.
Brake servo fitted. Still using drum brakes
Front radiator but no heater.
2 Individually switched SU fuel pumps.

------------------------------------------

I am selling the car because I use it so little and am finding it more difficult to get in and out!

Although it is a MK5 I am fairly sure it has a MK6 nose and I had a MK7 bonnet (with air outlet) adapted to fit.

All windows except windscreen are perspex.

The headlight pods do not have a raising / lowering mechanism, I just put my arm through each wheel arch, lift the lights and insert a nut and bolt to keep them up.

The seats are trimmed in leather.
